How To Apply For NMCN Online Verification of Certificate and License
To apply for NMCN online verification of certificate and license, you need to;
- Visit the verification page. (Note: this process is for only those who have done their PUF)

- If you do not already have an account, you can simply click the “Register” button at the top right of the portal to start the registration process.
- Enter your username and password to gain access to your dashboard
- Please note that you must have a valid Licence, your profile information must be fully completed (100%) and your qualifications as well before you can become eligible to request for verification of your licence. If the above prerequisites are not met, the button to request a licence verification will be disabled.

- Click the “Licence Verification” button to begin the verification request process. You will be presented with your personal details and your qualifications as saved on the NMCN system. Please note that this is the same information that will be verified and presented to the requesting body and please take your time to review the information to ensure that you do not run into any issues after your application has been processed.

- Once you are done reviewing the information, you can begin entering the required information for your verification application. On the recipient organization detail section, select the country where the board is located. It is important that you select the correct country as the list of boards is filtered based on the country selected. If you do not see your board in the provided list, ensure you have selected the correct country before escalating the issue to NMCN. We will detail the process for that below.
- Select the correct verification board from the now updated dropdown list below. Each board in the list is carefully vetted NMCN and all their information is already registered on the system. Once you select the board you want to send the verification information to, the details of that board are automatically populated (Name, Address, City and Postal Code) If you have the phone number and email address of the board, you can provide it below (and confirm the email address to ensure there are no mistakes in the email entered).

- If your board cannot be found in the provided list under the expected country, you can make a request to NMCN to add the board to the list. Click on the “My board is not list” button and fill in the required information there. NMCN will take this information, investigate the validity of the request and update you once the process has been completed. If the board is successfully vetted, it will be added onto the provided list allowing you and anyone else that uses the portal to be able to select that board

For boards in the United Kingdom, applicants are expected to fill additional fields which include:

- Once you have completed filling the request form and checked it again to ensure all information provided are correct, you can proceed to make a payment.
There are two options for making a payment which are:
- Online payment: You will be redirected to Remita (an accredited payment provider) where can use your bank card (as well as a number of other means such as bank transfer and USSD codes) to immediately make a payment.
- Bank deposit: If you prefer to walk into a bank and make a payment physically, then you can select this option to generate an RRR (a unique identification number you can link your payment to) from Remita. Just walk into any bank within Nigeria and request to make a payment to Remita and provide this unique number.
- Once you have selected your preferred payment option, press the “Submit” button to proceed

- Once you are done with your online payment (or if you opted to do a bank payment) you will be redirected back to your profile page. You will notice that your information has now been updated with the details of your new verification request below your photograph. The information available here are:
- RRR: Your unique payment reference
- Fee: The amount of money expected to be paid for the transaction in Naira
- Date: The date the application was made
- Status: The status of your application. Please note that when the status changes (approved or rejected), you will receive an email informing you of the update.
If you opted to do a bank payment, you can copy the RRR at any time you need it. There is also a “Pay Now” button that redirects you to the Remita payment page in case you decide
you want to pay online after all.

If you make a payment online, the payment confirmation is instant and the status of your application is updated to “Awaiting NMCN Approval” and added to the queue of applications to be treated by NMCN. However, if you choose to do a bank payment, the application will sit in a dormant state until payment can be confirmed. At this point, the status is “Pending Payment”.
NMCN automatically checks intermittently to see if a payment has been made linked to the unique payment reference (RRR) provided. Once payment is confirmed, the application will then be moved to the approval queue at NMCN and the status will then be upgraded to “Awaiting NMCN Approval.”

- To view the details of your application at any time, click the orange “View Details” button found on your profile page. This will take you to a page that details everything that was shown to you when you started your application as well as the information which you entered or uploaded. You are allowed to edit information entered in your application up until it has been treated (i.e. it has a status of “pending approval.”

- If you need to modify your application, click on the “Edit” button at the top right of the section.
