Temilade Openiyi popularly known as Tems or Tems Baby. Temilade Openiyi was born on the 11th of June, 1995 in Lagos state, Nigeria. She was born to the family of Mr and Mrs Openiyi (a Nigerian mother and a British-Nigerian father).

Her family moved to the United Kingdom shortly after she was born. Unfortunately, her parents got divorced when she was five years of age. After the divorce, she moved back to Nigeria (precisely Lagos state) with her mother, they resided in Ilupeju before moving to Lekki then Ajah in Lagos state.
